3 DEEP STORY (In golf, you are 3 deep when you are 3 under)
My name is Brent Smith, "Smitty". I have worked for 40 years at Golf Courses and Country Clubs in California, South Dakota, Minnesota and Arizona. I have been extremely fortunate to have met some great instructors, golf course superintendents, club fitters and club designers in those years and soak up information that has and continues to help the average golfer.
The game of Golf is played mostly by players that shoot 78 to 105 on a Par 72 golf course. This website and our YouTube Channel (3deepgolf) will focus on instruction that will help most golfers play better golf and enjoy the game more. We will not focus on the major golf tours for our information but rather with golf professionals who give lessons to the average golfer. We will also talk to club fitters and club designers to find out how equipment can benefit the average golfer. We will also talk to amateurs who have played golf at various levels that can explain the learning process.
My goal for threedeepgolf.com and 3deepgolf is to help golfers improve their game. Enjoy the game more and create an environment of fun learning that expands the golf community.
